Maude is wearing her pristine pink gym gear, but wants to play in the mud. So she slips on a long black PVC Mackintosh that she found in the Hall. Unfortunately for her, the coat is actually Rosemary's and Maude is not supposed to be wearing it, far less siding into the mud in it. So when Rosemary catches her, she makes Maude take the coat off and then go into the mud unprotected. Her beautiful pink clothes don't stay clean for long after that!

Rosemary herself wears a beautiful green satin ballgown, and needless to say that gets the full treatment too. No-one stays clean for long around here!

Amongst other things Maude gets her face pushed into the mud by Maude, who gets her own back by completely destroying Rosemary's green dress with mud, later on Maude does a spectacular hand-stand head-roll down the gully side into the sloppiest mud at the bottom. Maude also does some of her trademark faceplants into the mud. Once her pink outfit is completey covered she's made to remove her jacket so the pink t-shirt she's wearing under it also gets totally covered, the jacket is then covered and filled with mud and she's made to put it back on.

Unusually for us, this scene genuinely does involve outfit destruction as Rosemary's dress began to come apart, the sleeves tearing off, as we were filming.
