Susie, in high waist skinny jeans, canvas boots, and a black swimnsuit, and Honeysuckle, in denim dungarees and purple sparkly wellies, play together in the river by the old stone bridge. First they wade in and out, going a little bit deeper each time until they are standing waist deep in the water. Then they soak each other's top halves by splashing and pouring water using a jug, and then they go for a swim in the deeps together, swimming right across the river and back, and then ducking themselves completely under the water before leaping out with big splashes.

Getting wet is what denim was invented for!
