Having settled in to her attic studio at the Hall, Honeysuckle, our new poet-in-residence, catches a ride down to the Marsh House estate, determined to explore the famed riverbank mudbanks. She dresses for the occasion in a tight-fitting blue boilersuit, blue wellies, and blue rubber gloves, an outfit that looks lovely on her dry and clean, and even better covered in mud!

She walks into the mud, deliberately allows herself to fall over backwards so she sits her bottom, "splat!" into the mud, repeats this a couple of times, then crawls forward, rolls over onto her front, and steadily covers her outfit in more and more lovely sloppy river mud. She lies on her front and drags herself through the mud, then crawls back to where she started and does it again, she rolls over and over in the sloppiest mud she can find, and finally she gives herself a thorough mud shampoo and mud facial.

Honeysuckle likes the mud!
